Glynda Bess Anderson

She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Benjamin and Lillian Brown; a great nephew, Blair Kyle Brown and a great niece, Anne Brown.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kyle Nelson Anderson; brother, Dr. Ward Everett Brown and wife, Maureen of Fairfield, CA; nephew, Dr. Ward Martin Brown and wife, Patricia of La Crosse, WI; a niece, Dr. Sarah Brown Lagan and husband, Gregg of Des Moines, IA; great nieces and nephews; Callie Brown, Dane Brown, Trent Brown, Gregory Lagan and Marjorie Lagan; cousins, Tom and Chris Haynes of Gate City, VA; and G.W. Anderson and wife, Dilley of Houston, TX.

Glynda was a graduate of Brackenridge High School, San Antonio, Texas A & I, Kingsville and the University of Texas, Austin.

She was a very proud member of the Beta Tau Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, and of the Magna Charta Dames.

Working as a counselor and professor, she was committed to helping others develop as whole persons.

Glynda enjoyed traveling the world with her devoted husband.

She treasured time spent with family and friends, and always wanted to be the kind of person God wanted her to be.
