She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles; her parents, Inga and Melvin Kylstad; her sister, Ida; and brothers, Irvin and Phillip. She had four children, Cynthia Louise Mayhew of Eagle Point, OR, Charles Louis Karn III of San Antonio, TX, Steven Victor Karn of Boerne, TX and Paula Irene Brown of Boerne, TX. Grace and Charles had ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Grace and Charles were both born in North Dakota but met in San Diego where Charles was stationed in the Navy and Grace lived with her sister Ida. They lived their lives for each other, their children and grandchildren. There was never a more loving and devoted couple. Their lives were an inspiration to all. They will both be truly missed but we know they are now together in each others arms where they belong.
We honor you, loving wife, our Mother, Our Grandma and our Great-grandma. We will miss you. We love you, Mom, rest in peace.
