Grace was a member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, the Kum-Doublers Sunday School Class, Boysville Auxiliary, Beautify San Antonio Association and the Nature Conservatory.
She was a gifted artist.
A rewarding experience for her, was teaching for 15 years in the Primary Department of the Sunday school at Travis Park United Methodist Church.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, John Cole Evans and Mary Susan Nichols Evans; brothers: Jack Carson, Conway Henry, Butler Edward and Julian David Evans and sister, Mary Alice Evans McElroy. She is survived by a nephew, John Paul McElroy and wife, Patricia; niece, Gloria Evans Lang and husband, John; numerous nieces and nephews; many wonderful friends and neighbors.
With respect to Grace's wishes, she will be cremated with burial at a later date in the Mill's Co. Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, Texas beside her beloved husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
