

She was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 10, 1923 to the late Gonzalo and Jovita Saldaña Padilla.
Nena was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Altar Society in Helotes, Texas.
With her great faith in God, she was a gracious, honest and humble person. Nena was very loving to all her family and always wanted them to be united. She was also a very forgiving person.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Cepeda ; brother, Francisco Padilla; infant sister, Marina; and infant brother, Gonzalo Padilla. Nena is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Cepeda Pytel; daughter, Rosalinda Cisneros and husband, Albert; son, Albert Cepeda; daughter, Teresa Gamez and husband, Glenn; son, Fred Cepeda; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Domingo Padilla and brother, Jose Padilla; and numerous dear cousins.

Mi mama fue una señora simple, honesta y con mucho cariño para su familia.
My Mother was simple, honest woman and had great love for her family.
Como madre, siempre guiso unidad dentro la familia y que hubiera perdón uno y otro. Decía que si dios podía perdonar nos, nosotros necesitamos poder perdonar.
As a mother her main objective was that her family be united and that we be forgiving of one another. If God can forgive us, we too must be able to forgive others.
Lo que he visto en este tiempo es que las lecciones que nos dio, fueron usadas. Los hermanos y hermanas de esta f amilia se unieron y cuando ya ella no podía haver decisiones, las hicimos dentro nostros como familia. Ella vía hecho las decisiones, mas difícil y tuvo directivos. Tuvimos que hacer menos decisiones, pero las hicimos como familia.
