Guadalupe R. Salinas went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2013 at the age of 74. He was born and raised in Floresvillle, TX on July 3, 1938. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria S. Salinas; parents Celestino Salinas Sr., Hipolita Ruiz Salinas; brothers, Benito Salinas and Pedro Salinas; sister, Beatrice S. Ramos. Mr. Salinas is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Rangel (Reynaldo); grandchildren, Martha Rangel, Reynaldo Rangel Jr. (Leona), John Rangel (Rose Ann); great grandchildren, Haylee Rangel, John Rangel Jr., Maddelynne Rangel, Breyden Rangel; brothers, Celestino Salinas Jr. (Rosa), Rosendo Salinas; sisters, Pauline Sosa and Olivia Ramey; numerous nieces, nephews , family and friends. Visitation will begin 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in San Jose Burial Park.
