Hector Orlando Herrera, age 74, of San Antonio, TX, died Thursday, January 3l, 2002. He was a Life Member and Past Master of San Antonio Lodge #1079 A.F. & A.M., a member of Alzafar Shrine Temple and American Legion Post #2. He retired as a Criminal Investigator with the Bexar County Sheriff's Department and had been a policeman in Chicago and SAPD, former board member of the Red Angus Cattle Association. He is survived by his wife, Ana Herrera of San Antonio; son, Hector Herrera, Jr. and wife of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Dorlee Jan Thompson of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Yvette Rene Esquibel and grandson, David Kuhn both of Kingman, AZ; four great- grandchildren; brothers, Martin Herrera, III and wife of San Antonio and Dario Guerra of Elmendorf, TX.; sisters, Olga Gavia and Irma Mirelles. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring North.
