Hector was a devoted servant of Jehovah and an active member of the Stone Creek Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His love for Jehovah was evident in his life of faithful service. He was deeply involved in the building of Kingdom Halls, traveled frequently to attend assemblies, and supported theocratic activities whenever possible. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he remained loyal to Jehovah until his final day.
Hector was known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and love of family. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. A lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs, Hector also enjoyed good meals and the companionship of his beloved pets: Petey, Zoey, Pumpkin, and Jordan.
He now rests in Jehovah’s memory, awaiting the promise of the resurrection (John 5:28, 29). Hector is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Vicenta Solis; his siblings, Rudy Solis, Francisca Esparza, Margarita Renteria, Pablo Solis Jr., and Rosa S. Solis; and his late wife, Guadalupe Solis.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Prudencia Solis; his daughter, Lucila Garza (Jose); his cherished grandchildren, Makayla and Nathaniel; his stepsons, Jaime Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Johnathan Martinez, and Christopher Martinez; his siblings, Gloria Villanueva, Alberto Solis, Esther Mata, and Elvira Peña; and many nieces, nephews, congregation members, and dear friends.
Hector’s faithful example and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as we look forward to the time when we can welcome him back in Jehovah’s promised new world.
A Visitation for Hector will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel.
