Helen Gladys Martin

Helen Gladys Martin, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in San Antonio. She was born on May 2, 1926 in San Antonio to parents, William and Eva Lena Wallace. Helen was born and raised in San Antonio. She moved away in the early 1960's and returned to San Antonio in 2002. Helen worked in the cafeteria at a number of schools in the Northside School District and at Central Catholic High School. She later became a Tax Specialist. Helen is loved by and an inspiration to her family and everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray D. Cunningham; son, Russell Ray Cunningham; sisters, Betty Jo LaBrie and Leona Vaughn; brothers, Frank Wayne Wallace and Jimmy Clyde Wallace. Helen is survived by her daughters, Colleen Kay Cunningham Dragoo, Billie Marie Cunningham Dean and husband, Donnie; grandchildren, Kelly Wade Dragoo, Nathan Ray Dragoo and wife, Mei, Kristopher Rian Dragoo, Judy Dean Stokely and husband, David, Kara Danese Dean, Misti Dean Bodker and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Blake Carbaugh, Jordan Stokely, Dean Bodker, Jack Bodker, Adam Bodker; sister, Joyce Pollock and husband, Fabian; brother, Billy (Buddy) Wallace and wife, June. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
