She was born April 4, 1917, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Fred and Mary Ruth.
Helen graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
Until her retirement, she was the co-owner of F.A. McComas Painting, Inc.
Helen's fun-loving and witty personality reached out to many lives and she is survived by all those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank McComas.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Lindon Smith; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Charlene McComas, Fred and Theresa McComas, John and Olivia McComas; sister, Jacqueline Young; sister-in-law, Jewel Ruth; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eleven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
