Helen A. Rodriguez

Helen Amador Rodriguez, loving wife, mother and grand-mother, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Eloisa Amador and beloved husband of 48 years, John C. Rodriguez. She is survived by her sister Belia (Phil) Gonzales. Helen lives on in the hearts of her four children: Roland (Ginny) Rodriguez, Gerald (Marianne) Rodriguez, Rosina (Jack) Brinkman and Melissa (Henry) Bustamante; grandchildren: Charisma, Aubren, Jolly, Erika, David, Sarah, Briana, Eileen, Alaina, John Paul, Danielle and numerous great-grandchildren. She was a parishioner at St. Paul Catholic Church for 60 years, active member of St. Paul’s Altar Society, retired from SAISD, and a seven year joyful member of Morningside Community. Helen enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends to celebrate life. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed. Visitation: Thursday, April 20, 2017, St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Dr., 5:00-7:00 pm, Rosary 7:00pm Funeral Mass: Friday, April 21, 2017, St. Paul Catholic Church 10:00 am, interment at San Fernando Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church in memory of Helen A. Rodriguez.
