
Helen Marjorie Ward, born March 18, 1917, and passed away, November 14, 2003. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Noel A. Ward, and grandsons Palmer Noel Maynard and Tre's Mead. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and spent most of her career in Ft. Myers, Florida.
She was past Regent of the Caloosahatchee Chapter, Daughters of The American Revolution, member of National Society of Colonial Dames, The Huguenot Society, National Society of Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America, Order of the Eastern Star and the Edward Howell Family Assoc.
Helen was a devoted wife to her husband, Noel, and she enjoyed doing genealogical research of her family. She loved San Antonio, especially the Spurs, and the time she had to spend with her family and friends at The Chesapeake where she lived. She is survived by her daughters, TTonya Maynard, Pamala Farris, Cynthia Clark and husband Andy, and Carolyn Mead;
grandchildren, Duane Maynard, Kimberly Mead, Lisa Hasbrook, Kelly McDonald, Andrea Lamb, Scott Clark and Steven Farris; great-grandchildren, Taylor Maynard, Mercedes Maynard, Drew Hasbrook, Kelsey Hasbrook, Anthony Buffalo, Brandy McDonald and Helene Farris.
