Howard played clarinet in the San Antonio Community Orchestra and was a founding member of the Shtetl Cabaret, a Jewish Klezmer trio that played at local Jewish events for over 25 years, including the annual New Year’s event at the Golden Manor Nursing Home. In addition to his love of music, Howard had a passion for poetry, sailing, fishing, and flying small aircraft.
Howard Solomon will be remembered by friends and family as a kind, generous, funny, wise, loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. May his memory be a blessing and source of comfort.
