Howard Lew Young

Howard Lew Young, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 in New Braunfels, Texas. Hewas born on October 13, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to parents, Sassa Reva and Avraham MordichaiYoung.

As a young man, Howard studied Law at Los Angeles City College before joining the Army.He was a Vietnam era U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Kiwanis Club, and a volunteer at the NewBraunfels Food Bank. Howard was also past president at the New Braunfels Train Museum. His passionwas building scenery for Railroad modules; his pride and joy was his Circus Scene with over 5,000miniature people.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Howard is survived by his daughters; Marla FeliseMakley-Alden and her husband Mark Hunter Alden, and Gwenn Shellen Reep; grandchildren DavidAlexander Makley, Matthew Robert Makley and his wife Rachel, Danielle Renee Makley, Samantha AliseMakley, Jordan Ayden Alden, Taylor Hunter Alden, Hannah Reep and Emma Reep.
