Irmgard Elisabeth Hogan

Irmgard Elisabeth Hogan passed away on January 21, 2013, at the age of 67, in her home in San Antonio, TX. She was born on September 14, 1945, in Neu Ulm, Germany, to Anton and Leni Krell who preceded her in passing. She was the youngest of four children, survived by her sister Inge Franck, Walter Krell, Reinhold Krell and their families who reside in Germany and half-sister Irmgard Jager who resides in Austria with her family. Irmgard is survived by her husband Bobby Tom Hogan; two sons Alfred and Kevin Hogan; daughter-in-law Gina Lynn; and grandchildren Magdelena; Semia; Brandon and Ameerah. Irmgard was a dedicated lifetime U.S. Government civilian employees who held various positions in Italy, Germany, Japan and the United States. She was medically retired in 2006 due to the development of cancer of which she diligently fought for over seven years. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 6-9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78218. A Funeral Service will take place at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 12pm with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Irmgard will be missed by all whom she touched during her life.
