Isaiah Branden Nunez lived his 24 years with a fullness that most only dream of. Born on August 28, 2001, Isaiah had a spirit that was magnetic — the kind of person who could walk into any room and leave with a new friend. His patience and kindness were extraordinary, and those who knew him knew that his warmth was not something he turned on and off; it was simply who he was, through and through.
Isaiah lived for the thrill of it all. Whether he was out on his motorcycle, cruising in his car, or chasing the next great adventure, he was most alive when his heart was racing. He brought that same energy to the quieter moments too — a fierce competitor at family game night, a devoted companion to his dogs, and a beloved member of his work family, who he spoke of with the same pride and love as his own kin. Life, to Isaiah, was meant to be grabbed with both hands.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Yazmin; his daughter, Nyssa; his mother, Belinda Nunez; his father, Eric Nunez; his stepdad, Servando; his stepmom, Lacy; his siblings, Mia, Kahlil, Brian, JoJo, and Gavin; his grandparents, Linda and Miguel; and his aunts and uncles, Brenda, Paul, Lynn, Tonie, Gilbert, Christina, Richard, and Julie. Though his time with us was far too short, Isaiah now walks hand in hand with his grandmother Olga, reunited in a place where his adventurous spirit can soar freely. He leaves behind a family whose lives are immeasurably richer for having had him in it, and a community of friends and loved ones who will carry his laughter, his spirit, and his kindness with them always. He was loved deeply, and he will be missed even more.
