Jorge Julian Fernandez, age 16 was born May 22, 2003 in Del Rio, Texas, to Rodolfo Fernandez and Ana M. Guzman. Julian was a free spirit who always worked on making himself, the world and everyone around him laugh, smile and be a better person than they thought they could be. He cherished and prioritized family, even at a young age Julian knew the importance of keeping those he loved and cared about closest to himself.
Julian (as he’s known by) attended Smithson High School, he was an honor student, going into the 11th grade. During his free time Julian liked to hang out with his friends, play with his little brothers, listen to Joe Rogan and play basketball with his buddies. He was an accomplished, well-travelled, self-taught guitar player who enjoyed the peace of performing for others and himself just as much as he looked forward to a good rumble in the octagon and discipline of wrestling and the mixed arts in the octagon. Usually to the detriment of his opponent. He only knew how to win and if rarely he failed he always worked harder to be successful.
He is survived and perpetually loved and kept alive by his mother Ana M. Guzman; father Rodolfo Fernandez; Stepmother Erica Fernandez, and two brothers Lucas, and Nicolas.
Family will be receiving friends on August 10th, 2019 at 10:00am, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00am: Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, Texas 78232. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway.
