

Jack Anthony Bennett, age 28, passed away on Saturday April 25, 2015 at his home in San Antonio Texas. He was born April 28, 1986 in Tucson Arizona, to Gary and Jackie Bennett. He was a graduate of Ben Eielson Jr-Senior High School, Eielson AFB, Alaska. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 2004 as a Fuel Specialist, following his training, he was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina in 2004. He PCS'd to Eielson Air Force Base Alaska in May 2006 where he continued with his POL career. He served one tour of duty in Iraq. In April 2009, he then decided to Palace Chase into the Alaska Air National Guard into an AGR position where he occupied the career of Knowledge Operations Management awaiting formal training dates. In March 2011, Jack obtained a school date to receive formal training at Keesler AFB for Knowledge Operations Management.
During his time there he met his wife, Trisha M. Bennett. Jack and Trisha were married in April 2011 in Mobile, Alabama. In June 2011, Trisha joined Jack and along with their children started their new life together at Eielson AFB. In August 2014, Jack and Trisha moved their family to San Antonio, Texas where Jack continued his affiliation with the 168th ARW/LRS Unit in Alaska and Jack began working for Wisenbaker Builder Services as a template technician.
Jack is survived by his wife, Trisha Marie Bennett, their three children, Jackson Cambridge Bennett, age 7; Peyton Alan Rehrer, age 5; and Camdon Patrick Bennett, age 3; his parents, Gary and Jackie Bennett, San Antonio, Texas; his sister and brother-in law, Savannah and Kyle Gastring, San Antonio, Texas; his paternal grandparents, Teddy and Janice Bennett, Hoschton, Georgia; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Marie Postalwait, San Antonio, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and a host of loved ones and friends.
Jack was a devoted Husband and Father, a beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend who was full of life and lived it to the fullest. Jack loved loud/fast cars, Dallas Cowboys football, being the jokester and getting his hands dirty. His love of family and friends shined through his eyes and smile and will be forever remembered for his warm heart and loving spirit.
Funeral services will be held at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, Texas, in the Prayer Chapel located on the South side of the Church with Pastor Lavine officiating. The family will greet guests from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2015 until the time of the service.
The Bennett family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jack's name to PTSD.org.
