He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was a lifetime member of VFW Post Number 8541.
He worked in Civil Service for Kelly AFB, and loved to fish and travel.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet Waltemyer Reich; daughter, Jacqueline R. Smith and her husband, Michael of Beaverton, OR; and grandchildren, Mahlon Smith and his wife, Nadine of Portland, OR, and Justin Smith of Corvallis, OR; and sisters, Helen Wills, Mary Yommer and Geraldine Pagen.
He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
