James Hess Arthur, age 94, passed away January 26, 2017 in Helotes, Texas. He was born on April 2, 192 in Alpine, Texas to Henry and Blanche Arthur. He was preceded in death by his wife Katharina Arthur and is survived by his daughter, Patricia Arthur Davis; grandchildren, Wayne Davis, Jonathan Davis and Jamie Davis; great-grandchildren, Caden Davis, Joey Davis and Ivy Hoffman. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road on Monday, February 6, 2017 beginning at 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Monday, February 6, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
