

Jan P. Adams, a devoted wife and cherished friend passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 67. She was born on November 10, 1956, in Harlingen, Texas to Clarice and Roman Petersen. She leaves behind a legacy of honesty, kindness, and love.
For 25 years, Jan served as a trusted travel agent, guiding countless individuals on journeys around the world. Her clients revered her not just for her expertise but for her commitment to doing what was right. Jan refused to compromise her principles, ensuring that every trip she planned aligned with her values of honesty and authenticity.
Alongside her was her beloved husband of 28 years, Robert Adams. They explored the world together, seeking out new adventures and experiences. Among their cherished memories, Hawaii stood out as a beloved sanctuary, holding a special place in their hearts as their earthly paradise.
Beyond her professional achievements and travels, Jan's true essence shined brightest in her relationships. She was a pillar of strength for those in need and her unwavering integrity served as a guiding light. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Yet, her spirit lives on in the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the lessons she imparted.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Petersen. Jan is survived by her husband, Robert Adams; son, Michael Petersen; stepchildren, Bryan Adams and Brenda Matthews; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Adams; and extended family and friends.
Please join us in honoring and celebrating Jan’s life at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The family will be available to greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a formal Celebration of Life.
