He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents: Arturo and Socorro Acuna; aunts and uncles: Rosalinda Gomez, Susie Robinson, John & Patricia Fernandez, Richard Acuna and brother Paul Michael Garza.
He is survived by his parents: Leticia and Robert Garcia; sister: Kristine & Diego Jimenez and nephew: Leo Jimenez; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
Jan-Michael was both a joyful and thoughtful person. He was always going out of his way to put a smile on others faces. Known to be the life of the party, he loved to sing and dance with his friends. Jan loved becoming an uncle and adored spending time with his nephew. Jan was a lifelong fan of wrestling, the Dallas Cowboys and Lebron James. He was young at heart and loved to play online with his closest buddies. Jan-Michael will be greatly missed and leaves behind of a legacy of love, compassion and fun.
