She and her husband William were blessed with 50 years of marriage. Her priority was caring for her grandkids, which has been her avocation for the past 18 years. Jan was a talented painter and shopping enthusiast. She dedicated her time to her church where she was actively involved in numerous ministries.
She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Nichols.
Jan is survived by her husband, William Nichols; sons, David Nichols and Matthew Nichols and wife, Kayla; grandchildren, Aaron, Cason, and Kinsley; sister, Penny Brasher; and brother, Bill Jolley, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
