Jane was a lasso at Thomas Jefferson High School who graduated in 1940. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to Washington, DC as a correspondent for the American Red Cross.
She married Miles R. Wyatt on August 28, 1948. She is survived by her daughters, Joy Lea Wyatt of Lubbock, TX and Kay Wyatt Barry of Philadelphia, PA; granddaughters, Sara Barry Gilding of Tecumseh, MI and Rebecca Wade Barry of Superior, CO; great granddaughter, Lillian Grace Gilding of Tecumseh, MI; nieces, Laura Rogers Norman of Nacogdoches, TX and Marty Rogers Melton of Dallas, TX and their children, Kara Melton and Clayton Norman. She gives grateful thanks for her loving sister-in-law, Helen Wyatt Buescher and her dear friend Geri Vorpahl who meant so much to her.
