Janet L. Woods

Janet Lucille Woods, age 79 of San Antonio, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Senior Care of Windcrest where she resided for the past 3 years. She was born on July 29, 1938 in Danville, Pennsylvania to Denton and Dorothy Krum. She graduated from Danville High School in 1956. She continued her education at St. Joseph's Catholic Hospital School of Nursing in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a degree in nursing in 1959. Janet joined the Catholic Church when she married Bernard Woods on November 26, 1960.

She was an active member of St. Helena's Catholic Church for many years where she was also an eucharistic minister visiting nursing homes and shut ins.

She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) weight control club and achieved KOPS Status (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Woods. Janet is survived by her sister, L. Ann Thomas and husband Robert of Riverside, Pennsylvania and an adopted daughter, Ann Marie Woods of San Antonio.
