Jeff received a PhD in music from the University of Iowa.
As singer and director, Jeff gave concerts, recitals, and performances in 47 states and Canada. Locally he produced, directed and performed in the "Opera in the Schools" program. He directed and sang in many choruses, musicals, and operas. He sang professionally with the San Antonio Opera Guild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. John Troxler and his mother, Dorothy Troxler.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn W. Troxler; his sister, Rhoda Green and husband, Mark of AL; his brother, John Troxler and wife, Rebecca of MS; several nieces and nephews in AL, TN and Canada.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to St. Mary's University Vocal Music Department in the name of Jeff Troxler.
