

He was born October 14, 1970 at Fort Ord, California. He was raised in a loving Christian home and as the son of an Army officer; he lived in Europe for 8 years before moving to San Antonio in 1984. He graduated from Churchill High School where he was a member of Parliament, the school's student government. He then attended San Antonio College and later the University of Texas at San Antonio where he was a member of Alpha Tao Omega fraternity.
His faith and commitment to Christ guided his life. He was a committed member of Cornerstone Church for more than 25 years. He never wanted to see himself as handicapped and often referred to himself as handicapable. He dealt with his many challenges of being disabled with a positive attitude that reflected his faith and desire to approach life with joy. He wrote four Christian novels that were published and reflected his desire to share his faith. He just recently completed his fifth book, "Conversations With My Brother".
He was preceded in death by his brother Brian in the year 2000 and is survived by his parents Rev Gerry and Carol Lawrence and his younger brother Cristopher, currently serving with the Diplomatic Security Service in Baghdad, Iraq.

Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
