Jesse Julian Mesa, Sr. born on January 28, 1920 in Hondo, TX went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2011 at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarita Mesa and his mother, Nicanora Flores. He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Mercier; sons, Jesse J. Mesa, Jr. and Ramiro R. Mesa (Yolanda); grandchildren, Cheree Allee, Ronald Mercier, Jr., Jeannine Guerra, Nicole Campbell, Troy Mesa, Jesse J. Mesa, III, Ramiro A. Mesa, and Melissa D. Hall; also, 13 great grandchildren; longtime friend of 70 years, Mr. Raymond Rodriguez. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.3.
