

Jesus “Robert” Cuellar, age 94, entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 13, 1931, in San Antonio to Antonio Nieves and Juana Lopez Cuellar. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of 17 and served proudly for 6 years. He then married Norrine “Mickey” McClean before returning back to San Antonio to start their new life together. He worked in civil service at Kelly AFB, retired at the age of 55, and lived the rest of his 94 years traveling, fishing, and enjoying a blessed life with his loved ones.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Antonio and Juana; his devoted wife, Norrine “Mickey” McClean; his brothers, Antonio Cuellar, Jose Cuellar, Hector Cuellar, Orlando Cuellar; and his sister Gloria Mistician. He is survived by his children, Robert M. Cuellar (Lynnette), Diana Ison, Kathleen DeWinne, Mary Ellen Ward, and Jeanette Day; as well as numerous cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will continue to honor his legacy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, Texas.
A Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 1523 Iowa St., San Antonio, Texas. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert’s grandsons Matt Vidal, Jake Vidal, David Day, Dillon Day, Ricky Cuellar, and grandsons-in-law Alex Chavez, Joey Cedillo, and Luis Reyes.
