Jesus Colton Puente born on March 27, 1930 in Floresville TX was called to be with the Lord on September 24, 2014 at the age of 84. He is preceded in death by his son, Louis Puente Sr., brother, Jose Puente and sister, Teodora Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Elvira S. Puente; sons, Jesus S. Puente Jr., Adolfo S. Puente, Daniel S. Puente (Cris) and Jaime S. Puente; grandchildren, Louis Puente Jr., Nicholas Puente, Crystal Puente, Jesse James Puente and Destiny Puente; great grandchildren, Isaiah Newman, Aiden Bosman and Damien May; sisters, Maria Botello, Luisa Sanchez, Florencia Soto, Cayetana Lopez and Dionisia Garcia; brothers, Bernabe Puente and Ynosencio Puente; also, numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday September 29, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
