Jesusa Martinez Ramos, 82 of San Antonio, passed away April 22, 2023. She was born in San Antonio TX, on June 01, 1940 to Augustine and Juliana Martinez. She was married to Luis Ramos for 51 years. Suse as she was called her loved with all her heart and always would sit and talk to you and give the best advice she could give. She loved all her family and foremost she loved God, she would sit for hours listening to Jimmy Swaggart and his grandson preach, she loved to listen to praise and worship.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Ramos, daughter, Julia Ramos, son, Ernesto Ramos, father Augustine Martinez, mother Juliana Martinez, brothers, Gomecindo (chindo), Pedro (Pete), Benito(Bene), Javier(Guy), Julian Martinez, sisters, Ignacia (Nacha), Agustina (Goodie) , Pauline, Cruzita and Amelia (Mellie).
She is survived by her children, Luis Ramos Jr., Gloria Solis (Gilbert), Julie Maldonado (Michael), Leticia, sisters, Mary Burrell, Josie Trevino, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Our mother is missed already and will be missed dearly. On behalf of the family, thank you for coming to pay your last respects.
A visitation for Jesusa will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. A funeral service will take place Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home with interment to follow in San Jose Mission Cemetery, 310 E. Pyron Ave. San Antonio Tx.
