He was the first born to Joe Davila III and Blanche Panatex Davila. He was affectionately known as “JoJo”, “YoYo” to his mother, relatives, and close friends. Joe started working with his dad and the family business, AAA Glass while in high school. Following graduation from South San High School class of 1974 he went to work full time with the family.
Joe eventually ran his own glass shop on Military Dr. for many years. He was an avid bowler, having almost gone professional. Interestingly, he wrote right-handed and bowled and shot pool left-handed. Joe had a keen passion for music, quoting movie lines and dancing. He enjoyed going to Fiesta events, Las Vegas, and New Orleans.
Joe was a hard worker, a dedicated family man and had a heart of gold. He always put his children and family before himself.
