Joe Ramiro Gonzalez

Joe R. Gonzalez, went to be with our Lord on October 24, 2018 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Julian V. Gonzales and Carolina Fuentes Gonzales; siblings, Olga Cortez and Julian Gonzales, Jr. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Melinda Gonzalez; adoring children, Michael Gonzalez, Kathy Knox, Christopher Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Mathew Gonzalez and Amanda Caballero; siblings, Elva May Morales, Rey Gonzales, Amanda Gonzales, Yolanda Gonzales, Carrie Casas, Rosario Basden, Sandra Ortega, Roger Gonzales and Anna Marie Tagel. As well as, 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In his spare time, Joe enjoyed watching old western movies and listening to classical opera. He also enjoyed walking in his neighborhood and making new friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with the Prayer Service to be held at 7:00p.m. On Thursday, November 8, 2018 a 10:00a.m. Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
