He had a tremendous love for his family, and throughout his journey in life provided a loyal service to his country, and God. He also had a passion for golf.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Alex Gregory, and Otela Corbin Gregory, sisters, Gertrude, Chris, and Marie, brothers, Kenneth, John and Jack.
He is survived by his wife, Ada; his son, Joe Gregory, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Armistead and her husband, David; grandchildren, Samantha Gregory, and Adalyn Armistead; and niece, Denise Ensor.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
