

On August 14, 2022, Joe V. Patino, Jr. was called by Our Lord to return home and be by his beloved daughter, Ann Marie Patino Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe V. Patino, Sr. and Mother Cruz O. Patino; and brother, Edward Patino.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Agnes Patino; sister; Rosalinda Soto and husband Paul; brother, Louie Patino and wife Lupe; sister-in-law, Doloras Patino; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was a very devout Catholic. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church for 50 years. He belonged to the coral choir, Eucharistic Apostle of the Devine Mercy and Fishers of Men.
Joe had an associate degree from San Antonio Community College and a bachelors degree from St. Marys University. He worked at Frost National Bank and retired in 2001 after 35 years of service.
Joe loved to play golf and for many years, you could find him at the golf course rain or shine. He also loved to keep up with the Spurs and Dallas Cowboys which became a great topic of conversation between him and his daughter. He also loved to watch the repeats of the old western shows.
The family of Joe would like to thank Dr. Maria G. Luna, nurse Sharon from the DaVita Floyd Curl Dialysis, and Dr. Aasim Ahmad and nurse Aprille Wadkins from Methodist Hospital.
Rest in peace Victor, we love you and will always be remembered and never forgotten.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
