He was a man who never understood the concept of moderation; if it was worth doing it was worth over-doing, and if it was worth over-doing you might as well go for biblical proportions.
Johnny was an entrepreneur, an avid outdoorsman, a gardener with an unbelievably green thumb, but most of all a devoted family man both as a son and as a father.
People who knew him knew him as one of the best friends you could ever ask for.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Baldwin Brannen, his sister and brother Nancy Torn, and Rusty Brannen, his four loving children: Cathleen, Sean, Paul, John Jr., five grandchildren and several beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He is well loved and will be missed.
Family will visit with friends on Friday, February 22nd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
Maps will be available at Porter Loring with directions to the cemetery.
