He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Maybelle; daughter, Joyce Fluitt of Uvalde, TX; son, Wayne Fluitt of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Tina and husband, Stephen Rex, Beverly and husband Jim Bob Hatley, Nancy and husband, Charles Lackey, Christina and husband, John Theropelloes, Aaron Fluitt, Daniel Fluitt and Luke Foster; great grandchildren, Jaclyn, Amanda, Tessa, Kayla, Noah, Seth, George, Ariana and Natalia.
