John taught 4H for 20+years. He loved the outdoors and horses. John loved to ride and taught his daughter to rope. He was good with photography and enjoyed bowling. He was a spiritual man and followed his Catholic faith, his entire life. An honest, straight forward man, he was firm but loving and will live on in the hearts of the family he loved and his family will love him forever.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Farrell.
John is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Robertson and husband George; son, John D. Farrell, Jr.; grandchildren: Allene Robertson, Allen Robertson, John Robertson, Jermey Robertson, Jeff Robertson, Leslie Robertson, William Robertson and Robert Robertson; and 20 great grandchildren.
