He retired from the Air Force after 20 years as a Senior Master Seargent, then went on to a long and distinguished career at Randolph and Kelly AFB as a civil service employee until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by, his daughter.
He is survived by his loving son; son-in-law; three granddaughters; two great grandchildren; and his many friends, neighbors and colleagues.
John died too soon, leaving behind a grieving community of friends and family who will mourn his loss, but will also remember his smile, his wit, his friendship and compassion.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
