My condolences are with the family. True loss for us here and a great addition to Heaven. It was a pleasure to have known Mr. Spears as well as a blessing to have had him in my life.

Daddy, what to say I wish so many things, but it is just too late for all that. I will miss you and will always cherish the last good day we spent together we had lunch and sat outside, I remember I had to leave to go pick up Destiny and you didn't want me to go. This memory is bitter and sweet, and reminds me that we never know when the last time will be that we spend with our loved ones. I love you dad God bless you, RIP.

My deepest condolences to the Spears Family on the loss of Big John. I am very proud to say that I had the pleasure of knowing Big John all of my life. Some of my best childhood memories were hanging out at the Gulf station with Big John, Steve, and Jeff. I used to love Friday and Saturday nights watching Big John tear up the racetrack with the Snake Hill Hustler. Big John was a true "Gentle Giant". Rest in Peace, Big John. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.

I will always remember "Big John", as a great friend and someone that I looked up to. Thank you for all the good times, all the laughs and for allowing me to be a part of your Exxon Family. I know that all of the Exxon gang will truly miss you. To the Spears family I wish to offer my deepest sympathies and condolences.  My thought s and prayers are with you all.

Big John.. too many memories, the first meeting at your Exxon, the drives and hunting to your land, the race cars, the barbecues, etc.. You and your family always welcomed me to all your family functions. I keep each and every event ingrained in my memory, and with it, a smile. Go home and join those in your family already there.
