Jose Cortez Arias born on March 19, 1918 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2014 at the age of 96 years. Mr. Arias was well known tailor in San Antonio, TX for many years. His knowledge in tailoring men’s clothing was exceptional. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Santos Arias and his son, Gerardo Arias. He is survived by his children, Juan Rangel (Christina), Jose Francisco Arias (Celia), Martha C. Avila (Alfredo), Isidoro A. Arias (Sylvia) and Jose Angel Arias (Adriana); 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; also, 2 sisters. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jaime Gonzales officiating.
