Born on March 19, 1966, in Orange, California, Jose was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew him.

Jose was the cherished son of Guillermo Cruz Téllez and Maria del Carmen Ramirez Oliva, and he carried the values instilled in him by his parents throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to Maria Guadalupe Cruz Castillo, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they created a nurturing home for their two children, Justin and Alessandra, who were the pride and joy of his life. Jose's legacy continues through his two beloved grandchildren, Kathleen and Zayden, who brought him immense joy and countless cherished memories.

Jose was a loving brother who maintained close ties with his family, often visiting his siblings, Guuillermo, Roberto, Cristina and Ana, and many nephews in California and Mexico. His family was his foundation, and he took great joy in the time spent together, whether it was sharing stories, laughter, or simply enjoying each other's company.

A man of faith, Jose attended church every Sunday with his wife, finding strength and solace in his beliefs. He was also passionate about fitness and enjoyed spending time at the gym, as well as honing his shooting skills at the family ranch with his son and nephew. Time spent with his daughter and grandchildren was especially meaningful to him—moments he held close to his heart. These moments were not just hobbies for Jose; they were opportunities to bond and create lasting memories with those he loved.

Those who knew Jose remember him as a strong man with a warm sense of humor and kind heart. He had an incredible ability to light up a room with his laughter and to uplift those around him with his positivity. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he will be remembered as a loving husband and father who always put his family first.

As we celebrate the life of Jose Luis Cruz, we remember a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in our memories.
