

It is with a heavy heart, that we share the passing of Jose Angel Garcia, Jr. on February 25th, 2023, at the age of 67. He was born in San Antonio Texas, on October 14th, 1955. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Dolores Ochoa and Jose Angel Garcia Sr.
Jose's talent as a drummer led him to become well known around the Tejano community where he carried out his passion playing alongside several notable bands. In his early life, Jose proudly served his country as a United States Marine and in The Army National Guard. Soon after his honorable service, he went on to work as an aircraft mechanic on Kelly Airforce Base and later retired from the United States Postal Service.
Jose lived his life to its fullest and loved to put smiles on the faces of his friends and family with his kindhearted humor.
He is survived by his three children, Angel, Salvador, and Kayla Garcia. Additionally, his siblings Adela, Alisia, Rudy and Lupe. As well as his stepchildren Celine, Vanessa Ramos and Joe Valdez, Daughter-in-law Tiffany and Gina, Son-in-law Nick and Adam, his 12 grandchildren, his nephew Marvin Herring, and his many friends, all whom he loved dearly.
Anyone who knew our dad knew that his family meant the world to him and loved them unconditionally. His laughs, generosity, and big heart left a mark on anyone he met. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
