

He was born December 12, 1912, in Lehigh, Iowa and spent 40 years with Lehigh Pipe and Tile Co. becoming President and an owner of the corporation.
In 1969, he sold the company to W. S. Dickey Clay Co.
He came to San Antonio to build a tile plant for them and another in Bradenton, Florida.
After retiring in 1977, he and his wife spent part of each year in San Antonio, while maintaining a home in Iowa.
In 1992, they moved to San Antonio permanently and enjoyed playing golf.
He was a World War II veteran as a battalion sergeant major and a member of the American Legion Post 130 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; and his parents, Andrew Dee Bryant and Maza L. Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Phyllis; children, William and Dorothy Bryant of Fresno, CA, Jolene and Steven Davis of San Antonio; step-son, Terry Johnson of Cedar Rapids, IA; step-daughter, Karen Lofler of West Des Moines, IA; seven grandchildren, Cindy, Billy, Bryant, Suzanne, Chad, Heather and Todd; four great grandchildren, Bacci, Milan, Brayton and Halle.
