Josephine Ibarra Gutierrez

She was born on July 21, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro C. Gutierrez and her mother, Isabel J. Ibarra.

She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda G. Benavides and her husband, Ernest, Sr. and her son, Oscar Gutierrez and his wife, Teresa. Her surviving grandchildren are Ernest Benavides, Jr. and his wife, Tracy; Edward Benavides and his wife, Christine; Yolanda Ann Benavides, Eric Benavides, Edmund Benavides and his wife, Lourdes; Yvette Hotchkins and her husband, John, and Joey Benavides; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Ernest III, Bubba, Kailee, Brandon, Nicholas and Megan Benavides and Abigail Hotchkins unborn. She is also survived by her only sister, Barbara De La Rosa and her husband, Arturo Gonzales; several nieces, nephews and friends.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Gloria Basaldua for all her support during Josie's illness.

'Josie' will always be remembered and forever loved by her family and all those who knew her kindness of heart.

Pallbearers will be Juan De La Rosa, Roger Larralde, James De La Rosa, Victor Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez and John Hotchkins.
