She enjoyed growing up in the country on the Tezel Ranch. She attended Holy Rosary Elementary School, Providence High School, and St. Mary's University. She was involved in crafts at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Leon Valley Historical Society. She owned several race horses and loved following them in Texas and Louisiana.
She is survived by her cousins Mary &Stewart Marsh, Robert & Merlynn Kneupper, Susan & Bryan Prindle, Karl Becker, Frank & Suzanne Wehmeyer, Sharon & Billy Draker and their families and a host of friends.
