It is with profound sadness that the daughters of Juanita Sayles Thomas Brian announce the death of their beloved mother on Thursday, December 3, 2015. She died peacefully at her home in San Antonio at the age of 98. She was the only child of Perry Sayles and Juanita Young Sayles. Both families were early Texas settlers. Mother was very proud of her ancestry and deep Texas roots.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her daughters, Lloyd Basil Thomas, Jr. and by her husband, John Thomas Brian. Although she had many interests and talents (and really liked dogs!), nothing was as important to her as her family. We will all continue to be guided by her strength, wisdom, and courage. She is survived by her daughters, Bristol Woosley and husband, John of San Antonio and Lonieta Poradek of Houston; 4 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be on Wednesday, December 9th at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park; 1701 Austin Hwy; San Antonio 78218.
