Juanita Lopez Garcia, born on February 8, 1901 in Piedras Negras, Mexico, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at the age of 100 years. She dedicated her life to providing care and love to her younger brothers and sisters, her children, and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Robert Garcia, her brother, Joe Lopez, her sisters, Delfina Lopez Obiedo and Ruth Peters Santos. She is survived by 2 daughters, Olga Guevara and her husband, Al, Helen Flores and her husband, Dick B., 3 grandchildren, Jerry Guevara, Suzanne Marie Flores and Richard Mark Flores; and 2 brothers, Edward Peters and Alfred L. Peters; as well as her long time friends, Vickie Pansza and Yolanda Otero. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Rose Carbonell, Ethelvina Cuellar, Bertha Hernandez and Alicia Luna, as well as the staff at Golden Manor for the care they extended to our beloved mother. Gratitude is also extended to her two physicians, Raul Montemayor and Richard Otero.
