Juanita Garcia Hernandez

Juanita G. Hernandez went to be with the Lord, June 25, 2014 at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her daughter Rosa Ramos, Parents Jose & Trinidad Garcia and two infant children Jose & Josephine. Mrs. Juanita G. Hernandez is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Jose M Hernandez; daughters Lupe Small, Isabel H. Tesillo (Dave), Alicia H. Martinez (Jesse); sons Joe Hernandez, Lazaro Hernandez (Becky), John Hernandez (Xanthia); 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren; sister in law Janie Rodriguez, daughter in law Minnie Puente, son in law Rogelio Ramos, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff with Interim Hospice and a very special thanks to RN Mayra and CNA Rosa whom provided very special care and love to Mrs. Juanita G. Hernandez. She was a loving, caring, and generous wife, mother and grandmother. Her family came first, She gave them a life filled with love, happiness, and many memories. She always shared her wisdom with family and friends. Everyone that met her was touched by her generosity since she always wanted to give you something she made herself. If you have a bunny, a turtle pillow, or a headband you are blessed. She was very special to us and she will be greatly missed. A visitation will begin, Monday, June 30, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. mass to be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church with interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
