Karen Barrett-Lopez was born on July 30, 1961 in Ft. Worth, Texas and entered into rest on June 6, 2012 at the age of 50. She was preceded in death by her father, John O. Barrett and her brother, Robert R. Barrett. Survivors include her husband, Art Lopez; mother, Patsy Barrett; sisters, Cheryl Flegel & husband James and Brenda Burmeister & husband Ken; brother, Wayne Barrett & wife Blanca; 6 nieces and nephews; 2 great-nephews; and numerous friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park.
