Karen Torres, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on March 27, 2023 here in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 21, 1950 in Dededo, Guam to Antonio and Margarita Fejeran.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her in laws Juan and Lorenza Torres, her sister Lydia Cruz.
She is survived by her loving children, Lori Duenas, Jesus Torres Jr., Virginia Manning, and Patricia Lara; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
Karen was a kind, loving woman who enjoyed her family so much. She had a passion for cooking. Nothing brought her more joy than seeing her children, grandchildren, and great grands all together enjoying a good meal together. She was a proud army wife. She was a strong independent woman. She held down her household while her husband was away serving our country. She was a wonderful loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will greatly be missed by many.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with food and beverages provided during visitation hours at Sunset Funeral Home here in San Antonio.
